Beginner Sewing Class – Learn to Make a Pillowcase!

Ready to start sewing? Join us for a fun and easy Beginner Sewing Class where we’ll teach you how to make a pillowcase using the popular "burrito" method!

This technique is beginner-friendly, super satisfying, and creates beautiful finished seams—perfect for gifting or sprucing up your own space!

We’ll guide you every step of the way. Come learn, create, and leave with a finished project you’ll be proud of!

What to Bring:

Your sewing machine (in good working order) - If you do not have one let us know.
Power cord & foot pedal
Basic sewing notions (scissors, seam ripper, pins/clips, thread)
Fabric for your pillowcase:
- Main fabric: ¾ yard (for the body)
- Coordinating fabric: ¼ yard (for the cuff)
- Accent fabric: 2½" x 42" (for decorative details)

Optional: We will have kits available for purchase for $12.99 that include all of the above fabrics.

We’ll guide you step-by-step, so don’t worry if you’ve never sewn before. You’ll leave with a finished pillowcase and the confidence to keep sewing!
